This is a Madina Lake appreciation post, because well i know my blog is filled with kpop and what not, so it’s really more a kpop blog than it is a personal one [ive never felt like making another so it’s a bit mixed] but anyways, from my blog you probably wouldn’t know about my past or the simple fact that Madina Lake has been basically my entire world for a very long time now.
From this picture, it’s amazing to see how much they’ve grown and changed. I believe it was 2006 when this all started, i remember finally seeing them in 2007 and it was the most amazing experience of my life. Talking to them all about random and silly things, laughing about absolutely everything, and seeing them perform the songs i have fallen so in love with.
They have always been ‘that one band’ for me. They aren’t the only ones of course, so many other bands have been instrumental in the way i’ve grown up, but they are the number one. To this day i will not hesitate to say their name when you ask me “what’s your favorite band?” there isn’t a doubt in my mind. As new bands come and go in my life, ML is a constant. From Escape From Here, to FTTUTY, ATE, Dresden Codex and so on… they’ve meant so much to me. And in my opinion if you’re going to look up to/adore a band, then there is no better than Madina Lake. The forum is full of extremely amazing River People, and i can’t even imagine a more wonderful fan base than the one they have. They’re strong amazing people, with the most wonderful attitudes known to man.
I will never get over how amazing these people are, and i’m glad, because i never want to stop loving them/their music and their world. I will always be a River Person and they will always have my support and love.Nathan, Matthew, Mateo, and Dan, i love you… loads.
